Bespoke Engagement Rings Styles

Here at Baroque Jewellery, we love nothing more than designing a bespoke engagement ring with a customer. There are so many engagement ring to choose from and we handcraft each piece in our on-site workshop. So the sky’s the limit when it comes to bringing your ideas to life!

The whole process is magic (and so much fun)! From turning molten gold into a delicate band, to hand picking each unique diamond or gemstone, and of course seeing your designs come to life, it never gets old!

Why choose a bespoke engagement ring?

Lots of our customers feel a little nervous about designing their own engagement ring, but we can honestly say the risk is worth the reward. Choosing the bespoke route means the ring will perfectly suit your partner and their preferences. For example, if you’re simply looking at 18ct white gold engagement rings set with green sapphires we can create exactly that, but you have the licence to hold the reigns to then include any other personal design ideas you like. Plus, to make the process even easier, you can choose your budget from the offset.

Bespoke designs also allow you to incorporate sentiment into your jewellery. Whether you want to engrave your loved one’s initials or add a hidden gem set within the band, it’s such a wonderful way to add that special touch and hidden meaning.

Client Stories: Seth and Emily

One of our favourite engagement ring trends at the moment is the asymmetric cluster. This design holds multiple stones in a free-form cluster. We created a wonderful engagement ring using this design with our customer Seth, for his partner Emily.

Seth wanted to design something contemporary, that you wouldn’t see in other jewellery shops. He travelled down from London to explore Brighton’s jewellery quarter. And that’s where he found the inspiration for his design! In our window, he spotted our ‘Constellation’ engagement ring: an 18ct yellow gold cluster of round, white diamonds. He came into the store and chatted with us about his ideas. We looked at lots of different rings, cherry picking his favourite aspects and before we knew it, we had the outline of this wonderful ring! The most special part of this design is the mix of sentimental diamonds and rubies taken from Seth’s mother’s ring. After finalising the designs, we used a mix of the preloved and new diamonds and rubies to create this one of a kind engagement ring.

Emily of course said yes to Seth, and was thrilled with her engagement ring. We are now working together with the wonderful couple to create their wedding bands.

Client Stories: Hannah and Summer

Hannah came to Baroque with a deadline, she was going to Australia and wanted to propose to her partner Summer while on their once in a lifetime trip. She had a browse on our website but decided to come to the shop to see our full collection. In our store, she found ‘the one’! Our Classic Coco design caught her eye. It was almost perfect due to it being yellow gold and her partner only wore platinum. So, we used the ring as our starting point. We sourced a selection of beautiful oval diamonds for Hannah to choose from and then our team got to work. After a long journey all the way to Australia, hidden in a suitcase, the ring along with a surprise engagement made their trip unforgettable.

We loved creating this ring! What made it even more special was that Summer later came to us to design an engagement ring for Hannah too!

Client Stories: Georgia and Becky

This wonderful couple are ladies from Brighton who love walking past Baroque’s ever-changing windows on their way to work. So, when they decided to get engaged, they came into the shop for an initial consultation.

Our team started to bring their ideas to life, discussing different engagement ring styles and pinpointing what their dream rings would be. We then sourced a range of stones for both Georgia and Becky and invited them back for a second design appointment where we hand-picked their respective diamond and gemstone and finalised the design details.

Once the rings were completed, Georgia and Becky came to collect them separately to keep the surprise until the perfect moment to pop the all-important question!

We are thrilled with their rings, and we are so happy that they both love them too. It’s such a big moment in a couple’s journey to choose an engagement ring, and it’s so wonderful that couples are choosing to carry out this experience together.
